AI CRM: the CRM that updates itself from your sales conversations
An AI CRM keeps your pipeline up to date without anyone typing in statuses. In LinkedClient, the CRM is built into the tool that does your outreach: Elsie writes to your leads on LinkedIn and email, answers their replies, books meetings in your calendar and moves each lead to the right stage on her own. No separate CRM, no syncing between tools.

An AI CRM is a CRM where AI keeps lead records and pipeline stages up to date, instead of people typing in every status. LinkedClient’s AI CRM is built into its outreach: Elsie, the AI sales assistant, runs your conversations on LinkedIn and email, books the meetings and moves each lead to the right stage in a 12-stage pipeline based on what they say, for example to Interested when they show interest. Because outreach, inbox, booking and CRM are one tool, there’s nothing to copy or sync, and the CRM is included in every plan from €199 per user/month. If you already run HubSpot or Pipedrive, you can still connect it via API and webhooks.
What is an AI CRM?
An AI CRM is a customer relationship management system that uses AI to keep its records up to date. Like any CRM, it holds your leads: who they are, what you’ve said to each other and how close they are to a meeting or a deal. The difference is who does the updating.
In a traditional CRM, people do. After every reply, call or meeting, someone opens the record, changes the status and writes a note. When you’re busy, that’s the first job to slip. The pipeline then shows what someone remembered to type, not what actually happened.
In an AI CRM, the software reads the activity and updates the record itself. A reply that says “sounds interesting, tell me more” moves the lead forward. A booked meeting moves it on again. You open the pipeline to decide what to do next, not to fix it.
Built in or bolted on?
You can add AI to a standalone CRM, or use a CRM built into the tool that runs your conversations. A standalone CRM only knows what reaches it, so LinkedIn conversations held in another tool must be synced in first.
LinkedClient is the second kind. Elsie writes and answers the messages, so she already knows where every conversation stands, and she updates the CRM herself.
Why is a built-in CRM better than a stack of tools?
A typical outreach setup looks like this:
- A LinkedIn automation tool for connection requests and messages.
- An email tool for cold email.
- A booking link tool for meetings.
- A CRM for the pipeline.
- A sync tool such as Zapier to move data between them.
Each tool can do its own job well. The problems sit in the gaps between them:
- Copying data. Leads are exported from one tool and imported into the next, or pasted across by hand.
- Syncs to maintain. Every link between two tools is a workflow to set up, test and fix when something changes.
- Leads in several places. The same person sits in three tools with three statuses. Which one is right?
- Several logins and bills. Each tool has its own account, seats and invoice.
- Statuses nobody updates. The prospect wrote “yes, let’s talk” on LinkedIn, but the CRM still says “contacted”.
LinkedClient puts it all in one place. Elsie researches your leads, writes to them on LinkedIn and email, answers replies, books the meeting and updates the CRM. Nobody has to tell the CRM what happened, because it sits where the conversations happen.
A stack of separate tools vs LinkedClient
| Compared | LinkedClientFrom €199 per user/month, CRM included | A stack of separate toolsLinkedIn tool, email tool, CRM, sync tool |
|---|---|---|
| Where your leads live | One list, with list and pipeline views | A copy in each tool, kept in step by syncs or by hand |
| Who updates the stage | Elsie, automatically, from the conversation | You, by hand, or rules you build in a sync tool |
| LinkedIn and email replies | One inbox for both. On autopilot, Elsie replies within five minutes, even outside working hours | A separate inbox per tool, where you usually answer |
| Meeting booking | Elsie agrees a time in the conversation and books it in your calendar, and the prospect gets a calendar invite. No calendar links | Usually a booking link you send, then logged in the CRM |
| Pipeline value | Deal value per stage, with pipeline value in Statistics | Only as accurate as the last stage update, by hand or by sync |
| Syncs to maintain | None needed. HubSpot and Pipedrive optional, via API and webhooks | One for each pair of tools you connect |
| Logins and bills | One. All 97 features on every plan | One per tool |

How does Elsie keep your pipeline up to date?
Elsie has a separate AI agent for research, outreach, inbox, booking and CRM. Here’s how a lead moves through LinkedClient.
Leads come in
Import a LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or Recruiter search, upload a CSV or pick from your contacts. People who fill in the widget on your website arrive in the CRM as Inbound leads, with a task to contact them. Elsie also follows up new profile visitors and hands them to you when they’re interested.
Elsie runs the conversations
She researches each person and writes from your own LinkedIn profile and email. She follows up, answers replies and books the meeting inside the conversation, without calendar links.
She moves each lead to the right stage
From what each lead says, Elsie updates their status and pipeline stage: to Interested when they show interest, and to Meeting Scheduled when a meeting is booked. Each stage has a deal value, and Statistics shows your pipeline value.
The 12 pipeline stages
Plus a separate Excluded / Blacklist list. Colleague referrals are handled too: when a lead points you to a colleague, the lead moves to Colleague Referral instead of getting lost. Leads from your website widget start as Inbound, with a task to contact them.
What it looks like in practice
- A prospect replies “Interesting, how would this work for a firm our size?” Elsie answers the question and moves the lead to Interested.
- They want to talk next week. Elsie suggests times you’re free, finds a new one when Tuesday doesn’t work, books it in your calendar, sends the prospect a calendar invite and moves the lead to Meeting Scheduled.
- “You should talk to my colleague instead.” Elsie moves the lead to Colleague Referral, so the referral is tracked in your pipeline.
- A reply needs you. Tricky cases become a task for you, and the lead’s activity history and notes are in the same tool.
You stay in control: approve every message before it goes out, or switch on autopilot per channel. Either way, you don’t have to type in a status.

How do other LinkedIn outreach tools handle CRM?
Here’s what four LinkedIn outreach tools list about CRM on their own websites and help pages, as of October 2026. Each of them connects to an outside CRM such as HubSpot.
| Tool | Built-in CRM | CRM connection | Full comparison |
|---|---|---|---|
| LinkedClient | Built-in AI CRM on every plan: 12 pipeline stages and deal values, kept up to date by Elsie | HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zapier via API and webhooks, if you want them | All 97 features |
| Expandi | No built-in CRM listed | HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive integrations | LinkedClient vs Expandi |
| HeyReach | No built-in CRM listed; the Unibox inbox has tags, no pipeline listed | HubSpot sync | LinkedClient vs HeyReach |
| Waalaxy | Prospect lists; a lightweight CRM only inside the paid LinkedIn Inbox add-on; no deal pipeline listed | CRM sync with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive | LinkedClient vs Waalaxy |
| Valley | No built-in CRM listed; status tags in the inbox | HubSpot sync, where prospects become contacts | LinkedClient vs Valley |

To be fair, Expandi, HeyReach and Valley tag incoming replies by intent, for example Interested. The difference is what happens next. In LinkedClient, Elsie answers the reply, books the meeting and moves the lead in the pipeline. Expandi’s AI Analyzer suggests an answer and you reply, HeyReach leaves the reply to you, and Valley asks you to approve each AI-drafted reply.
Do you still need HubSpot or Pipedrive?
If you’re a founder or a small B2B team and your sales start with LinkedIn and email conversations, you probably don’t. LinkedClient’s CRM holds your leads, conversations, stages and deal values, and Elsie keeps it current. The pipeline runs past the first meeting too, through Negotiation to Won or Lost. If you don’t have a CRM yet, there’s no need to buy one just to track outreach. That’s what makes it a practical AI CRM for small business: one tool, one login, one bill.
Keep your existing CRM if:
- It already runs your whole sales process, with many sellers and steps long after the first meeting.
- Other teams, such as marketing or customer success, work from the same records.
- You’ve built reports on it that you don’t want to rebuild.
Then let LinkedClient do the prospecting alongside it. HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zapier connect via LinkedClient’s public API and webhooks, and on Enterprise our team sets up the API with you. You can also export your leads to CSV at any time.
